The coin was very shiny, and Johncould tell it was worth a lot of money. However, instead of keeping the coin for himself,John decided to take it to the village chief. The chief praised John for his honesty and said that good peoplelike him were rare. John didn’t want anything in return, but the chief rewarded him with a new pieceof land. This story teaches us that honesty is always the best policy.
